Peace Crane Project
Imagine building bridges of peace… by folding a simple sheet of paper.
Through the Peace Crane Project, children and young people make origami peace doves and exchange them with peers in a distant country, their exchange partners.
The activity turns the classroom into a living world map: participants discover new friends, improve language skills, explore different cultures and develop a broader view of the world.
A small paper gesture can open hearts and connect people living thousands of kilometres apart.
The initiative is carried out in partnership with the Peace Crane Project.
