Giant mandala for peace

A collective activity combining art, community participation and environmental awareness.

This activity combines art, community participation and environmental awareness by collectively creating a large mandala with round plastic caps of different colours and sizes.

Beforehand, caps are collected and sorted by colour and size. This preparation can take place in schools as an educational activity or in the community, strengthening cooperation and environmental commitment.

The mandala can be built in a school courtyard or public outdoor spaces such as squares and parks, inviting passers-by to contribute a piece and, with it, their wish for peace and care for nature.

Made from hundreds or thousands of pieces, the mandala symbolises diversity and cooperation: every colour represents the richness of our differences, and every circle reflects the connection between all beings. The work is temporary, but its message endures: peace and sustainability are built together, piece by piece.

An activity that strengthens dialogue among participants, creating a symbol of peace that shows their commitment to its culture.
