Poems for Peace – Your voice, a seed of hope

Poems for Peace turns young people’s words into messages of hope and commitment.

Through poetry, children, teenagers and young adults can explore and share the fundamental values of peace, fraternity, justice and hope, creating a creative and universal dialogue.

This activity is more than a contest: it offers everyone a chance to express their feelings and reflections in the special language of poetry. The finest poems will be collected in an international volume, symbolising a united humanity eager to build a better future.

Objectives

  • Encourage creativity and poetic expression as tools for peace and dialogue.
  • Promote awareness and reflection on the universal values of peace, fraternity, justice and hope.
  • Create a collective poetry collection by young people from around the world.
  • Strengthen cooperation with the Universal Circle of Peace Ambassadors.

Activities

  1. Write an original poem about peace, fraternity, justice or hope.
  2. Selected poems will appear in the new volume of the Golden Book of Poems for Peace.
  3. The book will be presented with the contribution of the Universal Circle of Peace Ambassadors.

Deadline

There is no deadline: Golden Books of Poems for Peace can be compiled several times a year, depending on the number of poems received.
